This GRP model range or 9m tenders is a result of intelligent mould and tooling decisions that allow a combinations of different deck configurations being mated to proven hull parameters. These single and dual inboard tenders fulfil a number of roles for Owners wishing to outfit their Yachts with multi purpose tenders.
At the performance end of the spectrum, twin 6 cylinder diesels driving high speed outdrives can deliver blistering 50 knot+ top speeds but without sacrificing useful interior space often associated with high speed ribs. These Proluxe hulls, with their 2.9m+ beams, have more room for cargo, watersports equipment and even removable seating for extra guests.
Whilst outboard engine versions are available, the vast majority of these craft are diesel powered. Single or twin diesel installations are possible with current sterndrive limitations being 400hp per drive unit. Waterjet applications can use 480+ hp engines but maximum speeds are generally little more than 38 knots. Single inboard engine installations can feature a « walk-around » engine arrangement as well as an aft engine configuration depending on the preferred use of the tender.
