Sikaflex adhesive sealants are used extensively in the construction of a wide range of marine crafts and structures. In fact, everything from pleasure yachts to passenger liners; fishing boats to oil tankers. Sikaflex polyurethane adhesive sealants will provide a tough, waterproof flexible bond between most materials and can be used with confidence both above and below the water-line; and are now complemented by Supercut rubbing compounds.

Sikaflex 290DC
Sikaflex is a one component, elastomeric deck caulking compound which has high UV resistance and is specifically designed for sealing wooden decks. It provides a strong and durable seal and can be sanded after curing. Requires a single coat of 290DC Primer. Typical coverage 10m per 310ml cartridge (5x5mm joint). Apply at temperatures between 5Deg. and 25Deg.C. Once cured it can withstand temperatures from -40Deg. to +90Deg.C. Cures to 3mm in 24hrs approx. Tack Free Time : 30-50mins.

Sikaflex 291
This is the most versatile of the Sikaflex marine product range. It is a one component polyurethane suitable for most sealing/bonding applications on board, the main exceptions being glazing and bonding bulkheads. Among its many applications are bedding deck fittings, sealing plumbing and sanitary equipment sealing joints including keel/hull, stern shaft tube, bonding deck to hull etc. It is also excellent for bonding anti-slip man-made decking materials including Marine Deck 2000, TBS, Nautolex, Treadmaster, Dekotred etc. It can be sanded and painted and its fast curing time and exceptional adhesion properties make it particularly suitable to a wide variety of repair jobs as well as boatbuilding uses. Typical coverage : 10m per 310ml cartridge (5x5mm joint).
Application Temperature : +5Deg. to +25Deg.C.
Service Temperature : -40Deg. to +90Deg.C.
Cures to 3mm in 24 hours. Tack Time : 60-90 mins.

Sikaflex 292
Sikaflex 292 is a one component modulus adhesive sealant. It provides high strength flexible bonding and is suitable for many structural applications where tensile strength, bond strength and flexibility are critical. It is ideally suited to deck to hull bonding, bonding bulkhead sections as well as bedding in deck fittings, hatches, toe rails etc.
It is also suitable for bonding anti-slip deck coverings such as Dekotred, Marine Deck 2000 etc.
Application Temperature : 5Deg. to 25Deg.C. Use of H45 Applicator Gun recommended

Sikaflex 295 UV

Sikaflex 295UV is a fast curing one component polyurethane based adhesive, specifically formulated to provide high performance bonding for windows and portholes. It is suitable for all types of glass including polycarbonates, acrylics and polystyrenes. Detailed instructions for all types are available on request.
Use of H45 Applcator Gun recommended.
