As long ago as 1948 the British Admiralty published their reservations about the traditional octahedral radar reflector, pointing out that even in the catch rain position, by the time it is heeled only 15 Deg. it has only a 50% chance of being seen by radar.

EchoMax reflectors comprise of a three stack array of laser cut aluminum enclosed in a fiberglass or polyethylene case. At each end 8/10mm diam. fixings enable a standing rigging or halyard hoist or mast mounting.
