Measuring
for a New Installation
1.
Measure A+B+C 2. Choose the appropriate Steering 3. For Through Tube Mounting,
add A+B+C+6" (15cm) and round up to next foot length (30.5cm) 4. For
Transom Support/Splashwell Mounting, calculate (A+B+C)-(less)6" and round
up to next foot length.
Measuring
for Replacement Cables
Add Y Measurement + 18" and round up to next full foot length.
The
Safe-T Steering System is the OEM choice for safe, simple, reliable steering for
boats up to the 24ft range with outboards, sterndrives or rudders. It does not
require tools for connection of the SSC62 cable to the helm, thereby reducing
installation time by up to 50%. It is suitable for outboards up to 235hp maximum.
The Safe-T QC twin cable helm is rated for outboards up to 300hp and
recommended for :
