Target Receivers
Two models are offered. The Target HF3 is a high quality low cost receiver capable of receiving transmission across the entire spectrum between 30kHz and 30Mhz. This means it covers all marine frequencies, RDF beacons, SSB HF meteorological broadcasts and all international world services as well as a huge range of other transmissions on each SSB/AM/LSB wave bands, selectable at the touch of a button. The AM listening band is 6kHz wide with the SSB 3.8kHz wide. The Target HF3 is supplied with everything needed to get started, including antenna and comprehensive manual which includes a list of useful marine frequencies. It is fully synthesised so it does not require constant "correcting" even in SSB mode. The large LCD display shows the precise frequency tuned to. Designed to work off 12v DC power, it has a consumption of 300mA. The HF3M further includes a Weatherfax interface cable and weatherfax software to display weatherfax pictures on a PC.

Three models are offered, the Target Navtex, Target Navtex with light, and the Target Navtex Pro. Navtex is an international system of navigation, safety and weather warnings broadcast by several nations under the general authority of the International Maritime Authority. The broadcasts are in English (bilingual in some areas) free of charge, and no license is required to receive transmissions. The Target Navtex receiver range have low power consumption, are designed to operate continuously and are programmable for station and message type. They will receive and retain messages in your absence and have large memory capacity. The Navtex Pro is fitted with a light as standard, has an 800 line memory, with line space between messages and no broken words at line ends. It also has a unique "Data Streamer" showing live messages scrolling along the bottom of the screen whether programmed or not, and these can be recorded at the touch of a button.
