Aerogen Wind Generators are big in performance, sturdy and robust, yet compact and lightweight. Designed to operate efficiently in light winds, they start to charge at 5 knots, but can also take advantage of higher wind speeds to produce higher outputs continuously and safely. Aerogen's low noise computer designed propellers operate at low revolutions for enhanced safety, comfort and reduced bearing wear, and produce more power at a much lower propeller speed than most competitors.

Despite being smaller than competitive units with similar or lower outputs, Aerogens are sturdy and robust. They incorporate heavy duty sealed-for-life bearings, heavy duty slip-rings and brushes. The rotors are sleeved and potted in epoxy. Corrosion resistant marinized materials are used throughout. Aerogens provide years of maintenance free use. The range covers the needs of weekend, cruising, and live-aboard yachtsman and many other professional and leisure users. Self furling versions are recommended for land use. AeroGens shown here are all 12v but 24v versions are available to special order.
Aero 2 gen
Ideal for weekend yachtsmen and small yachts, the Aero 2 Gen starts to charge at 5 knots of wind and produces 1/2 Amp at 12 knots wind. Over 7 days at 12 knots of wind Aero 2 Gen will generate 85 A/h of power. The low speed low noise propeller has rounded blades for maximum safety. Like all AeroGens, it is smaller and more compact than most of its competitors, and thanks to its long life brushes and sealed bearings it is virtually maintenance free. The Aero 2 Gen can be mounted on any of LVM K1, LVM K2 or LVM K3 mounting brackets. See below for Voltage Regulator Selection. Operates safely in gale force winds.

Aero 4 Gen
The Aero 4 Gen is ideal for cruising yachtsmen. It cuts in a 5 knots of wind and produces almost 1.8Amps at 12 knots which over 7 days gives 300 A/h of power. It produces 6 Amps at 20 knots and up to 19 Amps continuously at 60 knots of wind. Like all AeroGens it operates at lower revolutions and is lighter and more compact than most of its competitors, and yet still durable and maintenance-free thanks to its long life brushes and heavy duty sealed bearings. Like the Aero 6 Gen it has a high energy brushless alternator. The Aero 4 Gen is available for mounting on 25mm or 38mm tubing for either LVM K2/LVM K1 or LVM K4 mounting kits respecitvely.

Aer 6 Gen
Producing up to 670A/h of power at 12 knots of wind over 7 days, the Aero 6 Gen is ideal for live- aboard yachtsmen with high power usage. It starts to charge at 5 knots of wind, produces 2 Amps at 10 knots and can safely and continuously generate 30 Amps in winds of 45 knots and above. Like all AeroGens it operates at lower revolutions and is lighter and more compact than most of its competitors, and yet still durable and maintenance free thanks to its long life brushes and heavy duty sealed bearings. The high efficiency brushless alternator incorporates heavy duty stator windings and high energy permanent magnet rotor. Mount using LVM K4 or LVM K5. See below for Voltage Regulator Selection.
