Aqua Gen Water Powered Generators

Aquagens are towed water driven generators. Two models make up the range, the Aquq4gen and the Aqua6gen. Both are suitable for:

• All sailboats and sailing speeds
• blue and coastal waters.

The towed turbine travels 1-3 meters below the surface.   Aquagens can therefore be used in shallow coastal waters as well as ocean crossings.

• Two lengths of blades to maximize output.
• In the event of breakage new blades can be easily fitted.

• Well proven LVM alternator produces power at low revs reducing drag which varies by output.

• The generator is mounted by rope [supplied] to the pushpit.
• Easily mounted and de-mounted.

• High efficiency brushless alternator incorporating heavy-duty stator windings.
• Sleeved and potted high-energy neodymium magnets.

• Neither the generator nor the towed turbine produces any discernible noise.

• Voltage regulators and diode units are available for single and multiple battery protection.
  

• Aqua4gen starts to generate at 2.5 knots boat speed.
• Aqua6gen starts to generate at 3.5 knots boat speed

Aqua4gen-Aero4gen
'Two units in one'

The Aqua4gen can be quickly and easily converted into a wind generator providing:

• A water generator when sailing
• A wind generator when at anchor or when sailing
• With the same performance as an Aero4gen 

• Converted into wind mode in less than 5 minutes.

• Conversion mounting is fitted with slip rings so that the unit can be left in wind mode.
• Ideal for maintaining batteries when at anchor or away from the boat.

• Computer designed blades for low noise, low speeds, enhanced safety, comfort and reduced bearing wear.
